When I was first married in 2004, my husband was faced with back to back deployments and I moved from Seattle to Eagle River, Alaska, without knowing what I wanted. I had to pursue a creative path that was fulfilling and firmly grounded in my mind rather than a particular city. I’ll be speaking about the nature of literary work that travels, from teaching and editing to publishing and community activism.
